Several Cassidy family favorite artists also included the song variously known as The Water Is Wide and Waly Waly in their repertoires: Pete Seeger, Buffy Sainte-Marie, Harry Belafonte, Odetta and others. See below. Except for slight verbal variations TWIW stanzas 2-3  are identical with Waly Waly st. 2-3.
