We are delighted to have Elaine Stonebraker's permission to use her lovely photograph of Eva on our welcome page. Thank you very much, Elaine. As most of you probably know, the photograph also graces the Songbird CD inlay. We are also grateful to Blix Street Records founder and CEO Bill Straw for giving his acceptance to our use of the image. Thanks also for help in this matter (as in so much else) to Laura Bligh. Graphical adaptation of photograph by Torbjörn, typography by Henrik.

A big thank you to Matt for his permission to incorporate his many tabs of Eva songs into the site and for his generous assistance in evaluating various 'third party' tabs. You will find the original versions of most of his tabs in the files section of the Yahoo Eva Cassidy newsgroup. Matt tells me he took his Yahoo moniker 'top_of_the_world25' from the title of the song 'Top of the World' by Patty Griffin, 'an amazing singer/songwriter/guitarist/pianist with a beautiful voice and very moving lyrics'. Your webmaster is so old he thought Matt got the moniker from the well-known Carpenters song!

Steve Estes kindly prepared chords for his NLYG and let me upload them to the site. Thank you very much indeed, Steve. My regards to you and Leila. I am indebted to Michael Ingram who mailed me lyrics for his song Baggage (see 'Stray songs'). Jeff Muller, thank you so much for mailing me a corrected version of the lyrics to 'Maman Marie' ('Stray songs'). Check out that guy's song writing!

Many thanks to monsieur Sylvain Roca ('sroca' in the Yahoo Eva Cassidy group) for permission to use the tabs for ANS, IWIWASGA and TAT that he has uploaded to the group's file section. My attempts to contact former (?) Yahoo Eva Cassidy group member 'kiwibird302' have so far met with no result. Kiwibird, I hope you do not mind I took the liberty to incorporate your tabs for AL and WITW into this site. I was also unable get in touch with Phil Adams. I hope he would have okayed my use of his tab for OTR. Adrian J. Beattie, Northern Ireland, thank you so much for allowing me to incorpotrate your tab for 'Fields Of Gold' into the site and for mailing me revisions to the intro! And thanks also to 'terrorvision_babe' for permission to use his chords for Anniversary Song. Many thanks to Dre from Holland for extra tabs for AL, OTR, S, TAT and TW. These are now uploaded to the site and accessible from links found in the notes to the songs in question. Yves Benisty, merci beaucoup for supplying karaoke files for EMR (Imagine) and IDMA (Imagine). Marcin Zreda of Poland, thank you for supplying chords for PTMN (TAT). Stuart Lowe, New Zealand, thank you for letting me use your tab for IWBAB (TAT). Stuart, I hope you don't mind I have also included your tabs for ATL (TAT), ICOBM and I. (I.) Marta from Poland, I haven't gotten in touch with you yet, but I hope you do not mind I have used your tab for KS (TAT). Thanks! And Susan Lützner, Denmark, thanks for chords/scores for FAM and AL (LABA), NYLSB (EBH), TAT (TAT), and HILHS (AT).

When I told Paul Limbrick that Torbjörn and I had transcribed the lyrics for all the Eva Cassidy songs we could lay our hands on, he suggested that we make the results of our labors available to other Eva fans. So it is fair to say that this website owes its existence to him. Thank you, Paul.

In our work with the transcriptions we have benefited from the assistance of a number of fellow-Cassidists and people who knew Eva: Mona Skobe, Laura Bligh, Paul Limbrick, Lynn (essseus of the Yahoo Eva Cassidy newsgroup), Steven Digman, David Christopher, Chris Arscott, and Eileen White, who has in turn on several occasions drawn on Chris Biondo, Chuck Brown, and Mary Ann Redmond. Thanks, all of you. Chris Arscott kindly provided background on IWBAB (TAT). We are grateful to Kelly for mailing us corrections to the lyrics to several songs.

Jenny, your enthusiasm, praise and constructive criticism are much appreciated! Thanks also to the members of the Yahoo Eva Cassidy group, especially 'martlet530' (Scott from Stone Mountain), 'closetcomposer' and 'essseus', for your many interesting and informative messages. Thank you, Julian Thurgood, for adding my site to DMOZ Open Directory. Bettina Fürstenberg and Signe Trier, I am glad you let me check and fix stylesheets for IE5 for Mac on your Macs (this is work in progress).

Tom Goldfogle and Laura, tons of kudos to you for making my walls prettier!

Chris and Eileen, you guys rock!

The site should work and look more or less OK in recent versions of the following Browsers: Internet Explorer, Mozilla, Mozilla Firebird, Mozilla Firefox, Netscape and Opera, though there are still layout problems with Internet Explorer on Mac and Linux.
